Co-creator of the popular TV series "Bat Yam- New York", Ofek directed the film "No. 17" which won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Documentary and well as other international awards.

After graduating from Southern Illinois University, Medalia served as senior producer of the award winning documentary 39 Pounds of Love. The film won the 2005 Israeli Academy Award for best documentary and was screened at numerous festivals throughout the world. Medalia received a 2005 Regional Emmy Award for the documentary project Condition: John Foppe and the 2004 Angelus Award for directing the student film, Daughters of Abraham. The project also won second place in the documentary category at 2004 Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and received the 2003 UFVA Carole Fielding Student Grant. Bio:
Yuval Shafferman is a young emerging director from Israel. "Things Behind the Sun" is his debut feature film.
Yuval's short film "Routine", shot while a student, has won him many international awards including the prestigious "Best Student Film" at the Manhattan Short Film Festival 2003. The award received at the festival had paved his way into making his first feature film Things Behind the Sun.
